Wherever suede is concerned, it is important to remember that exposure to moisture or liquid is detrimental to it. Use a brush to remove any dust; alternatively, if you are using a cleaning cloth, make sure it is damp instead of wet. In this case, immediately give it a second wipe-over with a dry cloth. In case of a spill blot the affected area to soak up the spilled contents. After, follow the steps recommended for cleaning with a cloth.
